DreamGF Alternatives for Video and a Character That Stays On-Model
By Marcus, AI generation expert at OFMAI · Updated
Plans from $9.99/month.
DreamGF is a well-known AI girlfriend platform. You build a companion by choosing appearance, personality and voice, then chat by text, receive voice messages and generate images in realistic or 2.5D anime styles, with NSFW unlocked on paid plans. Tiers run from Bronze at $9.99/mo up to Diamond at $99.99/mo with unlimited messages, and annual billing brings it down toward $5.99/mo. For a chat-first girlfriend experience it is a polished, popular option.
The gaps show up the moment you want to produce content. DreamGF has no video generation at any tier, the same companion's face can drift between image generations, the synthetic voice cannot be cloned, and there is no character you own to build a library around. OFMAI is built the other way round: you create one consistent AI character and generate hundreds of on-model images and real videos, plus a cloned voice, all designed to be exported and sold.
Clone your model once — same body, same look — then generate uncensored photos and videos in minutes.
Plans from $9.99/month.

The DreamGF video gap
DreamGF's biggest limitation for creators in 2026 is that it produces no video at all - only images and voice messages. If your audience expects clips, that is a hard ceiling.
OFMAI treats video as a first-class output: animate any image you have generated into a clip up to 1080p, with the same character carried across the whole set. That is the difference between a chat toy and a content pipeline.
The verdict
Pick DreamGF if you mainly want a customizable AI girlfriend to chat with. The companion builder, erotic chat and voice messages make it an easy, affordable relationship-style app, and casual image generation is a nice extra.
Pick OFMAI if you are a creator who wants to build a recognizable persona and turn it into content you can post and sell. One consistent character, hundreds of on-model images and real video up to 1080p, voice cloning and editing - all in one studio and priced for volume. OFMAI is 18+ and allows only legal, consensual content, with no real-person likeness without consent.
