SoulGen Alternatives for a Consistent, Ownable Character
By Marcus, AI generation expert at OFMAI · Updated
Plans from $9.99/month.
SoulGen is a capable AI art generator that turns text prompts and images into realistic or anime visuals, and in 2025 it added short video that animates a static character with expression and pose changes. SoulChat lets you talk to your characters, and there is a free tier of one credit a day with Pro from about $7.58/mo on annual billing (around $12.99/mo monthly for 100 credits). For quick portraits and lookalike art it is fast and affordable.
Two things make it a poor fit for building an adult persona. First, SoulGen's own terms of service prohibit pornographic and explicit content, so relying on it for NSFW work is risky for a creator's account. Second, there is no trained character you actually own - consistency is prompt-driven, video is short, and there is no voice cloning. OFMAI builds one character so the same look and body hold across hundreds of images and full videos, adds voice cloning and editing, and openly supports legal adult content.
Clone your model once — same body, same look — then generate uncensored photos and videos in minutes.
Plans from $9.99/month.

Why the content policy matters
SoulGen may allow flirtatious chat, but its terms prohibit explicit imagery - so an adult creator's library and account can be at risk. Building a business on a tool that forbids your core output is a shaky foundation.
OFMAI is designed for legal adult content and states its limits plainly: strict 18+, no minors including synthetic-as-adult, no non-consensual content and no real-person likeness without consent, with automated and human moderation.
The verdict
Pick SoulGen if you want an affordable, fast art generator for realistic and anime portraits and the occasional short animated clip, and your work stays inside its content rules.
Pick OFMAI if you are building an adult persona you can monetize. One consistent character across hundreds of images and full video, voice cloning and editing, and a policy that openly allows legal, consensual adult content - 18+ only, no minors and no real-person likeness without consent.
